 Based on my experiences from 52nd International IATEFL Conference, Brighton 2018


Hi friends,

Review Meeting TEJAS Project

                                          Review Meeting on Tejas Project.


GM friends,
                         Yesterday i.e  27th Nov 2017 a review meeting of all SARPs was organised in RAA Aurangabad. I've jotted down a few notes from the meeting & want to share it with some SARPs who couldn't attend the meeting. Hon. Dir Subhash Kamble,Hod Dr.Ujjwal Karawande, Dr.Pramod Kumavat,Urvi Shah & Radhika Ma'am initiated the talk by having informal discussion with SARPs. After the discussion the agenda of meeting was announced by Radhika Ma'am.

Agenda for Meeting:-
1. TEJAS Symposium
2. LEP Online Course for TAG teachers
3. Announcement of application for IATEFL Conference 2018
4. Follow up on submission of TAG video,Observation & Online reporting.

  Agenda-1 Tejas Symposium   
                                               You'll be pleased to know that the Team TEJAS is going to organised a symposium on 31st January 2018 at RAA Aurangabad. Radhika Ma'am initiated the talk on symposium.
 Part-1 Presentation 
 ‌                          Presentation will be co-presented by 1 TAG C & 1 TAG teachers.The idea is to involve TAG teachers by asking them to present their learning from TAGs. They can share teaching techniques,ideas,activities they learnt from TAG. TAG C can be in a role of supporter & mentor. The planning of this should be completed before the first week of December.
‌Part-2 Digital Katta
‌                                A digital katta would be established by the volunteer SARP & they can share quick tips & techniques of various digital tools such as Twitter,Facebook,Zoom Padlet,Blogs etc with the help of smartphone or laptops.‌They can have Coffee with participants on Coffee table just like Coffee with ----------.This session will have the time limit of 10 minutes.
Part-3 Facebook Corner
                            One or two SARP can have a Facebook sign in corner & can appeal the participants to join tejas4ed facebook group.
Part-4 Workshop
                    Two to three Workshop of 30 min each would be planned which will be facilitated by  British Council Trainer & SARPs.The two SARPs can co facilitate the workshop.The Workshop topic should be related to the realistic needs of the teachers for teaching English.
Part-5 Felicitation
                    The TAG C,TAG teachers,SARPs ,Officials will be nominated & felicitated  for their great efforts in TEJAS Project.

Agenda-2   LEP Course

                          British Council is offering a Learn English Pathways (LEP) Online Course to 200 TAG teachers. For this a link has been created by BC & up till now 66 TAG teachers have registered their names for the course.The link deadline is extended upto 28th Dec 2017.Please motivate TAG teachers to register on the link given below

Agenda-3 Announcement of application for IATEFL Conference 2018

                             British Council will sponsor one SARP for IATEFL Conference 2018  which is going to be held at Brighton U.K. The applications are invited from the SARP for same.The deadline for application is 24th Dec 2017.

Agenda-4 Follow up on submission of TAG video,Observation & Online reporting.

1.SARP should observe two TAG meetings monthly & upload minimum two videos of TAG meeting covering all sections.
2.SARP should take the follow up of online reporting of TAG meeting.
                          The meeting ended with celebration of Surendra Sir birthday.Please let me know if you want more detail of the meeting.
